Lazy Teenagers

Do you know that teenagers are becoming lazy nowadays? Maybe for ourselves we do not admit that we are one of them. We do not admit that we are not lazy and we think are responsible enough to be not called as lazy.

                Actually most of us teenagers nowadays are becoming lazy. We spend most of our time doing different things. Instead of working we spend more of our time with our friends. And when it comes to work we always think of a reason to be excuse. Most of the excuses we often gave as a reason are School work. But when it comes to grades, our grades are lower than the expected grade we should have for dedicating too much time in school and reasoning out school works.

 Teenagers see work as a waste of energy and time that they should spend to with their friends. Light works like sweeping, fixing the closet, washing clothes using washing machine is a tough work they consider. But to compare it to the past generation, those works are not considered as work. Maybe because it is a different generation today, we are in generation of high technology. These technologies affects too much to us in doing work. Because of these technologies like cell phone, laptop, computers, televisions and many different products of technology, it affects how we do and see work. For example instead of working we spend our time texting and watching. And we always get ideas of reasoning from the movies we are watching. So we kept on reasoning just to be excused in working.

Another factor of teenagers being lazy is that we always prolong the agony of doing the work we are supposed to do at that time. We always tell to our minds that we will do it later, after some hours or days, later again until we are forced to do so. So we should do works that were given to us. Let’s practice the virtue of being responsible for us to learn.
